Reflections from my first hour at Relevant: I watch the women gather around each other, circling the room, hugging-laughing. So many of them are strangers and yet there’s a casual familiarity in the stories they share. They skip the small talk and leap straight in, head-first, getting right to the heart issues.
We’re whispering prayer requests and wiping each others tears and all of this within hours of shaking hands. This is the community that exists on the other side of the screen. These are the hearts of the women behind the words that slip into your in-boxes, and appear in your twitter stream and on your Facebook pages.
This is the heart behind Sisters In Bloom too. And you are welcome here.
Won’t you come join us?
Sisters In Bloom launches it’s first posts today, and a little something extra. Pull up a chair, share your heart as we share ours and know that you are a part of this, that we are walking along side you. We’d like for you to have something to encourage you.

It is our prayer that your heart will be encouraged, that you will be reminded of our awesome hope in Christ, and that you will know that He always fulfills His promises.
You are loved by an everlasting God.
You are prayed for by a community of sisters in the body, who share your joys and pains, your trials and your triumphs.
Every time your name comes up in my prayers, I say, “Oh, thank you, God!” I keep hearing of the love and faith you have for the Master Jesus, which brims over to other Christians. And I keep praying that this faith we hold in common keeps showing up in the good things we do, and that people recognize Christ in all of it. Friend, you have no idea how good your love makes me feel, doubly so when I see your hospitality to fellow believers. Philemon 1:4-7 Msg.
