Have Mercy, Help Me Buy A Van

Drive Mercy

I’ve got 4 kids–4 kids and one ginormous van that is truly a gift from God. We log a hefty number of miles on that machine each week between the library, church, the store, Co-op, taekwondo, ballet and on and on it goes. We have a city bus stop not far from the house, but the blessing of being able to transport ourselves, wherever and whenever is one I too often take for granted.

Sometimes, I think, what would we do if we didn’t have this amazing people mover?

There are some ladies in Kenya who need a van. 12 of them actually–ladies, not vans. But that’s not all, there are also 12 babies and 2 housemothers that also need a place to ride.

Here’s the thing, our sisters at Mercy House in Kenya need help. And WE can help them. (We can, watch, it’s going to be awesome!)

Together we need to help raise $8,750. That sounds like a lot, but I believe God is generous, and I believe we WILL meet this goal.

Is God’s arm too short?

No. It isn’t:

Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it. (1 Corinthians 12:27)

So, help me spread the word about this fantastic show of love.

Donate, tweet and share this post like crazy.

Let’s buy these ladies a van so they can continue on their way to a healthier life, as they work hard to provide for their babies and themselves.
