A Must Read

April 15, 2014

After I read Spiritual Misfit, I told Michelle, “This book is easily in my top 10 of all time.”

I’ve read a lot of books in the last 4 years. Many of those books have been good, but not profoundly moving. I’ve been waiting for a book like Spiritual Misfit.

Michelle’s book is for everyone who tries to love and live Jesus and feels like they are always missing the mark by just a bit. You’ll laugh. You’ll cry. You’ll see yourself in her story–but better than all of that, you’ll see Jesus in her words.

Spiritual Misfit is a beautifully honest story of coming to faith. Michelle tells her story with a near perfect balance of humility and hilarity, inviting you into the middle of her messy crisis of faith. She bravely shares her less than shining moments of confusion and disillusionment, and wrestles openly with what it is to live and love Jesus.

Spiritual Misfit manages to shine grace on those moments where we are less than graceful, and reminds me that whatever my issues are, God loves me still.

THIS book?–It’s a MUST READ.
Spiritual Misfit

Because I love this book something fierce, and because I adore Michelle, I put together a little giveaway bundle for you.

This bundle includes: a copy of Spiritual Misfit,  a fun “Bird on a wire” photo hanger (because that cover, with those birds on the wire–perfect!), and a box of Cheez-It’s because….well, you’ll just have to read the book (Wink).

The beauty that surrounds me inspires my creativity; either God’s or a fellow human being’s artistic expression. Also, the joy in serving others and wanting to bless them becomes an inspiration.
