Children

Tanzania

By now some of you may already know that a group of Compassion bloggers are in Tanzania for the next week and a half. If you have never followed a Compassion blogging trip this would be an excellent time to grab your tissues and start reading along. I promise you, you will never be the same–and I mean that in a gut-wrenching, heartbreakingly beautiful way.

This is the fourth trip I have followed the bloggers on. This is a wonderful way to get to know more about Compassion as an organization, as well as seeing the program for what it truly is all about- the children. These kids are the poorest of the poor. These kids make the poor in America look rich. Seriously.

I’ve linked up the list of blogger below who are on this trip.

Amy Lupold Bair

Kelli Stuart

Scott Williams

Jolanthe

Maggie Whitley

Nester

Shaun Groves

Keely Scott

If you follow along, I’d love to hear your thoughts on Compassion and whether you are so moved to Sponsor a child.

Join me in praying for the team and the lives they will touch while they are there.

  1. Well said Kris and I’d love to see you go on one of these trips. I’ve also followed the last 4 trips and I get so much inspiration from the stories and the what Compassion does in these communities. Praying with you.

Rachel~ Mmmm, your words to God’s ears. I would be so grateful if God ever allowed me to go. These trips are increadible. Praying for this crew and for YOU as you continue to settle into the *new* normal. How are things? God bless you, my friend.

  2. I have been moved to sponsor a Compassion child since in(RL). I am always leery of such organizations because you just never know… but the more I see people like you endorse it, the less reason I am finding to not support it. Thanks for sharing about it. I have already talked to hubby about it and I am almost sure he is going to say yes 🙂
