Weekend Wanderings

Do not neglect the gift you have, which was given you by prophecy when the council of elders laid their hands on you. Practice these things, immerse yourself in them, so that all may see your progress. Keep a close watch on yourself and on the teaching. Persist in this, for by so doing you will save both yourself and your hearers. 1 Timothy 4:14-16

This week I shared a post over on Kindred Grace about Spiritual gifts. If you missed that, you can see it HERE.

Congratulations, to Julie Reynolds, winner of the “You are… Creative” necklace .

If you are following my on either Facebook or Instagram, you have seen that I’ve been prepping for my baby’s birthday, which is today. In all of the craziness of baking a three-tired purple pony cake, and what not, I FORGOT to post my next giveaway in Friday. So, here it is now:

Awesome Giveaway

I’ve created a one of a kind photo book of various images from this series. These are all my own images, paired with the various quotes I’ve been sharing this month, to encourage and inspire your creativity. This is the ONLY ONE of these books.

  1. What a fantastic giveaway! Thanks so much, Kris. Nature inspires my creativity the most. The beauty and wonder of God’s creation often has me reaching for my camera or influences other pieces I create.

You inspire me to want to be more creative, and Emily Freeman inspires also. The beauty of fall leaves changing color and crunching under your feet makes me wish I knew how to convey that feeling of belonging to God & his creation that I only experience in Autumn. One day I will be brave and make it art.

  3. Oh how lovely – you’ve had such great pictures here! I’m inspired by … the writing of others; flashed of natures that I see – love it when I’m out on a drive and a beautiful tree or the water or something catches my eye; by wandering in art stores – not necessarily for supplies, but to get lost in the piles and spills of all kinds of color.

What a fun giveaway!! What inspires me to be creative? Creating something with items I already have in my home 🙂
